World Learning for International Development (WLID) is part of World Learning, an international non-governmental organization (INGO) founded in 1932 in the United States. Based in Washington, DC, USA, WLID designs and carries out technical assistance programs in more than 50 countries throughout the world, in the fields of education and training as well as civil society and institutional capacity building, and on behalf of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank mostly. In Europe & Eurasia, WLID activities have focused on improving the performance of individuals or groups via the transfer of new skills & knowledge. Most recently, however, WLID has been focusing on improving the performance of key institutions too. |

The SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Commercial Finance Fund is managed and operated by Crimson Capital Corporation (USA). Crimson Capital through the SME Fund lends directly to Macedonian companies. The objectives of the SME Fund are to provide trade finance products and services that are currently not available in the Macedonian financial sector, to increase trade, export and revenues of SMEs, to generate new employment, to enhance the opportunities for women and minority-owned businesses and to create the local capacity for trade finance lending. |
