Within its activities in the area of reforming the labor market the Business Environment project of USAID, is working intensively on activities related to promotion of flexible labor market, development of social dialogue, promotion of active measures of the labor market, reform of the Employment Agency as well as promotion of the concept of lifelong learning.

During the previous period the project along with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and Employment Agency RM, designed and implemented measures as part of the National Employment Strategy 2006-2010, as part of Operational plans of the Government of RM for active measures on the labor market.

One of the main measures in the Operational Plan for active policies of labor market for 2008 was the training of 33 trainers from the ESA entrepreneurship  that continue to be conducted at the level of unemployed people - potential beneficiaries of funds from the state budget for starting a family business.

The total coverage of persons with first and second phase was 833 people.

The trainings of trainers and potential entrepreneurs were carried out by the consulting firm CDS - Center for Business Cooperation, leaded by the chief trainer Mr. Nenad Apostoloski. Training was effective, as well as the quality of the designed program and training material and the planned effects of the measure were achieved. A capacity was built within the ESA for further implementation of the training in this field for unemployed people. Based on positive experience and expressed a high level of professionalism,
