Within the frameworks of the UNDP Project: “Friendly Libraries for All Citizens”, a three-day training was held on the topic of “Fundraising, methods for gathering additional finance resources, diversity of delivered services as a possibility for increasing finances”.

Participants at the training were representatives of three selected libraries which are being assisted by the project: “Fetkin” – Kavadarci, “Blagoj Jankov Muceto” – Strumica, “Braka Miladinovci” – Radovis. The goals of the training were train the participants about:

• Financial planning on strategic and operational level;

• Process of preparing budgets within the public organizations;

• Additional potential sources of financing that are available to the public organizations;

• Tools that are used in the process of additional collection of finances

As a result of the training, the participants gained practical knowledge and tools that they can use in the financial management of their institutions.
