The National Coordinator took part in the preparatory workshop in ETF; The National Coordinator was responsible for producing national background document in a form of ‘self-study’ document on the topic “Involvement of social partners in education and training in tourism and construction”. She drafted the self-study in close cooperation with the national peer learning team. This document provided a short overview of the major developments in the country. It included a problem analysis, a stakeholder analysis and identified objectives and implementation issues. The National Coordinator together with the national peer learning team was responsible for collecting a set of country background materials that can help to clarify the issue/ topic of peer learning exercise in the host country. The National Coordinator, together with the national peer learning team, was responsible for drafting the programme and arranging the meetings in the host country Peer learning visit. The programme focused on issues related to the peer learning topic for 2008 and included visits to a wide group of relevant stakeholders. The programme was agreed with ETF. A visiting peers team must be able to build on the ‘self-study’ document. Therefore, it was expected that all members of the National team (including the National coordinator) would present during the preparatory workshop in the host country in detail the issues elaborated in the “self-study” document. The purpose was to make Peer learning team members familiar with mechanisms and policies related to “Involvement of social partners in education and training in tourism and construction”;
