For FOSIM, CDS delivered more than 10 workshops on Financial Literacy with the key objective to familiarize low-income families with practical aspects of household financial planning and regular saving.

In adition to that project, with the key objective to increase the incomes of the families, in 2010 CDS will provide 5 trainings in job search tools and 5 in How to start your own business.

The first training consists of the following topics:

a. Self assessment - exploring skills, values and interests (VIPS)

b. Exploring the labor market (job market realities) (Internships, Internet, Advertisements)

c. CV, Motivation letter, Cover letter

d. Communication and presentation skills

e. Interview preparation, Interview simulation

The second training will equip the young entrepreneurs with the knowledge of how to start a business in Macedonia, how to prepare a market research, marketing plan, analysis of costs and defining a price.
